1.Darfur Is Dying:
I chose Darfur is dying because it was played in class and I wanted to play it for myself. I found this video game to be fun and can easily misleaded of what the purpose of the game is. As discussed in class, this game is a serious game but can also be viewed as persuasive. I found it hilarious how the people in darfur were running, throughout the whole game you're just laughing at them. After I completed the game I seen the link to the actual darfur website and I began to wonder; is this really a matter in which I should be laughing. Yes, it is a video game and video games are suppose to be be found entertainig but is this one is based on the people in Darfur true life story. This video game depicts their true life struggles that they face.
2.Click 4 Obama:
My reason for choosing this particular video game was because I am an a Democrat and I was curious what type of game they will have for his campaign. Me personally I hated this game. It wasn't even a video game is was a trivia game that asked question about the different presidential parties and the economy. The promotion claimed that the more questions I got right, they would add ad pixels for Obama campaign allowing his supporters to put up more flyers about him. But to play the game I had to have a Facebook account. Being I didn't have a Facebook account, I had to create one. While in the long process of doing so I got distracted with adding friends from the past. In the beginning I wasn't sure if the purpose of this advertisement/persuasive game is for Obama or Facebook. One of the questions asked, "Where is Hollywood located?" And it listed different states that you could choose from. Two of the choices were California and Florida. Since I was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida, of course I chose Florida, and they marked it wrong. Though I do know there's a Hollywood in California, I wanted to choose the state from which I reside in. I quite upset that they marked my answer wrong when it can be proven to be true. This game needs some more repairs to be accurate.
3.Mcvideogame
I chose this game because all the remainder choices were too complicated to play. This game is an advert game that is against McDonalds. When clicking on the game you would assume that the game is an advertisement for McDonald fast food restaurant, but it's not. The game is potraying McDonalds food and its contribution to our environment in a negative way. One of the main issues they were talking about how McDonalds is one of the major reasons why there are a numerous of amount of obesity in todays society. Basically saying that the company serves a large variety of unhealthy/fatting food. But I don't think the target should be at McDonald, but to we as people. We should be held accountable for what we put in our mouth, not the company.

I agree with your statement about the Darfur game. I believe it is made to be misleading so the shock value of what is actually happening is more prominent at the end.
